Sheridan Construction teamed with Stafford Builders and Consultants to provide construction management services for the new Northeast High School Addition and Renovation project in Macon, which included approximately 82,000 SF of renovation and approximately 83,000 SF of new construction.

One of the main attributes of the Northeast High School project was the construction of a new 19,500 SF fine arts auditorium with supporting performing arts spaces, including a large practice room, small practice rooms, administrative office space and instrument storage casework. The auditorium features a large hardwood floor stage with new lighting and sound systems and a seating capacity for 609.

Northeast High School also features new science labs, general classrooms, a large media center, cafeteria and kitchen renovations separate from the middle school, administrative offices and a storefront vestibule, refurbished locker rooms and installation of a new indoor walking track in the existing gymnasium.

Construction for Northeast High School was completed in July 2019 in time for the new school year.

Sheridan’s work on the Northeast High School received Merit Honors as an Associated General Contractors 2020 Build Georgia Award project.
