The project consisted of a new diverse and dynamic 103,000 SF Professional Sciences Center that houses faculty offices on the third floor and classrooms on the first and second floors. It also includes a conference center that is equipped with a 400-seat auditorium for dining. The conference center has strengthened the ties between Middle Georgia State University and the local and regional business community through continuing education programs, meetings, and conferences while providing additional space flexibility for college students and faculty use. The building is equipped with a high level of technology including: smart-boards, digital signs, and electronic locks for the classrooms.
The project earned a First Place Build Georgia Award from the Associated General Contractors of Georgia.
