This project involved removing and replacing existing storm, water, and sewer piping along the main street in the campus center. After utility removal, new piping was installed. The roadways and infrastructure were replaced with vehicular and pedestrian brick pavers on a concrete and aggregate sub-base. The project included constructing new free-standing CMU/brick walls and columns, topped with over 400 pieces of cast stone in 10 locations. Electrical infrastructure was upgraded with over 30 new light poles, security, and communication features. Additionally, two custom gates, 300 LF of custom fencing, 45,000 SF of sod, 7,800 new plants and trees, a new volleyball court, and 172 pieces of new furniture were installed. Challenges included working around existing underground utilities, phasing, communication, scheduling, and sequencing work amidst an active campus, particularly coordinating with pedestrian and vehicular traffic related to the main dining hall.
